These are the five connectors that do the most for Claude. Connect them in the Claude app once and they follow you into Claude Code, or paste the one prompt on the next page and Claude Code wires them up itself.

Claude appConnect Gmail, it shows up in Claude Code too
Open Claude Code in any folder and paste this:
Set up my five connectors at user scope, then tell me exactly what I need to click to finish.
1. Notion. Run:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user notion https://mcp.notion.com/mcp
2. Zapier. Run:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user zapier https://mcp.zapier.com/api/v1/connect
3. PostHog. Run:
claude mcp add --transport http posthog https://mcp.posthog.com/mcp -s user
4. GitHub skills. Run:
claude plugin marketplace add anthropics/skills
claude plugin install document-skills@anthropic-agent-skills
claude plugin install example-skills@anthropic-agent-skills
5. Gmail has no command. Remind me to connect it in the Claude app under Customize > Connectors, because Claude Code picks up my claude.ai connectors.
When you're done, run `claude mcp list` and show me the result. Remind me to restart Claude Code and run /mcp to sign in to Notion, Zapier and PostHog.
Restart Claude Code, run /mcp, sign in to each one in the browser, and you're live.

Two places to install
Claude app (desktop + web): connectors live under Customize → Connectors. Search, click Connect, sign in. Then in a chat, + → Connectors to switch it on.
Claude Code: one claude mcp addline per connector, then run/mcpinside Claude Code to sign in. Anything you connected in the Claude app is already there too: when you're signed in to Claude Code with your Claude account,/mcplists it under claude.ai.
GitHub is the exception: in Claude it isn't a directory connector, it's where you get skills, plus a built-in integration for your repos. Section 04 covers both.
01
Notion
This gives Claude a shared brain with ChatGPT. Connect the same Notion workspace to both and they read from and write to one memory, so Claude never forgets your details and saves your projects, preferences, and decisions as you go. Notion's own docs call it "one shared brain for every agent."
Get it here: claude.com/marketplace/connectors/notion
Install
Claude app: Notion is Anthropic verified and made by Notion. Customize → Connectors → search Notion → Connect. On Notion's screen pick your workspace and click Continue, then switch it on in a chat under + → Connectors.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user notion https://mcp.notion.com/mcp
Then /mcp → notion → sign in.
ChatGPT: Settings → Plugins → Notion → Connect, and sign in to the same workspace. That lets ChatGPT search and read your shared memory. For ChatGPT to save to it too, add Notion's MCP server as a custom app: Plugins → Add → Create MCP App, paste https://mcp.notion.com/mcp, and turn on Developer mode if ChatGPT asks.
The tools you'll use first
notion-memory-searchpulls up what your agents saved in earlier sessions: context, preferences, decisions.notion-searchandnotion-fetchfind and read any page.notion-create-pagesandnotion-update-pagesave new work back to Notion.notion-query-data-sourcesfilters a database, like your memory table.
Run this first
Run it in Claude, then open ChatGPT and ask what it knows about your projects.
Use Notion. Read https://developers.notion.com/prompts/setup and follow it to set Notion up as my shared memory for Claude and ChatGPT. Show me what you plan to create before you create it.
Then save these to my memory:
- Project: [WHAT YOU'RE WORKING ON]
- Preference: [HOW YOU LIKE THINGS DONE]
- Decision: [SOMETHING YOU ALREADY DECIDED, AND WHY]
The setup ends by handing you a custom-instructions block. Paste it into Claude's settings and ChatGPT's custom instructions, so both check the same memory before they answer.
02
Zapier
This turns Claude into a full operations team. Zapier connects Claude to over 9,000 apps, so one prompt can run your cold outreach, onboard a new client, and even handle fulfillment.
Get it here: zapier.com/mcp
Install
Claude app: Zapier is an official connector, made by Zapier, and works on every Claude plan, including Free. Customize → Connectors → search Zapier → Connect. Or just ask Claude in a chat to connect Zapier MCP and click Connect on the card it shows. On Zapier's screen: click Copy prompt, then Continue, then Allow. Back in Claude, paste the prompt you copied. It runs Zapier's onboarding.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user zapier https://mcp.zapier.com/api/v1/connect
Restart, then /mcp → zapier → sign in, with the same Copy prompt → Continue → Allow, and paste the prompt back into Claude Code. Prefer a plugin? /plugin install zapier@claude-plugins-official.
How it works
Instead of thousands of tools flooding Claude's context, Zapier hands it a few. discover_zapier_actions finds the action you need in any app, enable_zapier_action switches it on, and execute_zapier_write_action runs it: Gmail Send Email, Slack Send Channel Message, Google Drive Create Folder, Shopify Create Fulfillment.
Each successful tool call uses two tasks from your Zapier plan.
Run this first
Use Zapier.
1. Find my lead list in Google Sheets and send each lead a short, friendly pitch for [YOUR PRODUCT] from my Gmail. Show me the first email before you send any.
2. For anyone who says yes, create a Slack channel for them and a Google Drive onboarding folder, then send them a welcome email with the link.
3. Fulfill today's open Shopify orders and tell me how many you shipped.
03
PostHog
This turns Claude into your private investigator. PostHog holds your analytics, funnels, session replays, errors, and feature flags. Connect it and Claude finds where you're losing customers and figures out how you can make the most money possible.
Get it here: posthog.com/mcp
Install
Claude app: PostHog is a verified connector in Claude's directory. Customize → Connectors → search PostHog → Connect, then sign in.
Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http posthog https://mcp.posthog.com/mcp -s user
Then /mcp and log in to PostHog in the browser. It routes you to your US or EU project automatically.
The tools you'll use first

Run this first
Use PostHog on my project for the last 30 days.
1. Where am I losing the most customers between first visit and paying? Show me the step and how many people we lose there.
2. Pull session recordings for 3 people who dropped at that step. What were they trying to do?
3. List the top 5 errors by how many customers hit them, and the page each one happens on.
Then rank the fixes by how much money each one would make me, and start with the biggest.
04
GitHub
This turns Claude into a master of anything. GitHub is where skills live: folders of instructions that teach Claude a job. Download one and Claude gets better at that task, from coding and design to research, documents, and so much more.
Get it here: github.com/anthropics/skills (Anthropic's own skills, free)
Install skills

- Turn skills on: in the Claude app, Settings → Capabilities, and make sure code execution and file creation is on.
- Anthropic's skills: the ones in this repo are already in the Claude app on paid plans. Open Customize → Skills and switch on the ones you want.
- Any other skill on GitHub: download its folder as a ZIP, then Customize → Skills → + → Create skill → Upload a skill. It shows up in your list with its own switch.
Claude Code: add Anthropic's skills as a plugin marketplace, install, then restart Claude Code.
claude plugin marketplace add anthropics/skills

Bring your repos in too
In a Claude chat, click + → Add from GitHub and pick the files and folders you want Claude to read. In a Claude Project it lives under + → GitHub.
Run this first
In Claude Code, any skill on GitHub is one prompt away:
Install the skill at github.com/[OWNER]/[REPO] into ~/.claude/skills. Read its SKILL.md first and tell me what it does, what it can run on my machine, and how to trigger it.
Then put it to work:
Use the frontend-design skill to build a landing page for [YOUR BUSINESS]: a headline, three benefits, and one call to action.
05
Gmail
This turns Claude into your executive assistant. Claude finds the missed opportunities sitting in your inbox, drafts your replies, and manages the whole inbox for you: labels, filters, and archiving.
Get it here: claude.com/marketplace/connectors/gmail
Install
Claude app: Gmail is an official connector, made by Google. Customize → Connectors → search Gmail → Connect, then sign in with Google. Or from a chat: + → Connectors → Browse connectors → Gmail.
Claude Code: no command needed. Connect Gmail in the Claude app, sign in to Claude Code with the same Claude account, and it shows up in /mcpasclaude.ai Gmail.
Claude asks before write actions like sending by default, so nothing leaves your outbox without you.
The tools you'll use first
search_threadsandget_threadfind and read your mail.create_draftandreplywrite your replies.label_thread,unlabel_thread, andcreate_filterorganize the inbox. Taking the Inbox label off a thread archives it.send_messagesends, once you approve it.
Run this first
Use Gmail.
1. Search the last 60 days for emails from potential clients, partners, or customers that I never replied to. List them by how much money each one could be worth.
2. Draft a short, warm reply to the top 3. Save them as drafts. Don't send anything.
3. Then sort everything else into Clients, Invoices, Orders, and Newsletters, and show me the plan before you archive the newsletters.
Stack them
One prompt, all five, in this order:
1. PostHog: find the step where I'm losing the most customers this month, and why.
2. Gmail: find every customer who emailed me about that problem and never got a reply. Draft an apology that explains the fix.
3. GitHub: use the frontend-design skill to redesign the page where they drop off.
4. Zapier: add those customers to a Google Sheet and post a summary in #support on Slack.
5. Notion: save what we found, what we decided, and why, to my memory so ChatGPT knows it too.
Show me every draft before anything sends.
Before you connect anything
- Start with PostHog. Your own numbers beat anything on the internet. Connect it here.
- Name the connector in your prompt. "Use Notion to…" is faster and cheaper than letting Claude guess.
- Watch your Zapier tasks. Each successful tool call uses two tasks from your plan.
- Stop before send. Gmail and Zapier send real emails and real Slack messages. Ask for the draft first.
- Read a skill before you install it. A skill is instructions Claude follows, and some run code on your machine. Scan it first.
- Only add connectors you trust. A connector can feed instructions to Claude through what it returns. Notion, Zapier, PostHog, and Gmail are all in Claude's directory, made by the companies themselves.
